Planting first apple trees ( 5ha ) at La Blottière by Ferdinand SOCHELEAU

Merging of growers

Consolidation of several growers of Maine and Loire around Le Verger de la Blottière's structure

1992
Development of presizing process

Establishment of a pre-sizing system for conveying Fruits onto water. Expansion of the packing house, reaching 10000m2.

1992-1997
Test of alternative techniques for orchards management

Observation and alternative technical trials on the orchards management : titmouse , mating disruption trials , release of typhlodromes.

1997
Set up of technical alternatives

Implementation of the first internal specifications in La Blottière orchards, integrating alternative techniques to chemical treatment: titmouse, distributor of hormones, setttlement of entomofauna hedges.

Establishment of a structured and autonomous quality department.
